Ivy Tech Community College has an enrollment of 110,000 students a year. You can earn your college degree for less than $6,000. There are more than 150 programs and oncentrations statewide, all of which result in an associate degree or certificate that can lead to a good-paying job. Elkhart Community School Adult and Continuing Education Program: Providing information on Continuing Education classes, beginning in September. Registrations opens on August 4,2008. Classes of interest include: TIG/MIG Welding, Basic Arc and Mig Welding, Residential Wiring and Code,HVAC (Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration), and AutoCAD, Computer skills at all levels, Medical Terminology and Certified Nursing Assistant (CAN). SCORE provides professional guidance and information to start-up and existing businesses in order to strengthen the local and national economy. The volunteer staff represents diverse business expertise and is interested in assisting businesses through personal advising and monthly meetings. Personal advising
may be done by e-mail or in person. SCORE strongly encourages candidates to attend
their low-cost workshops and seminars.
