Supply chain management is the end-to-end management of all supply, operations, and logistics functions used in the flow of goods, services, and information from raw materials through the finished product or service delivered to the customer.
The importance and visibility of supply chain management to a company’s business has increased recently following years of numerous supply chain disruptions. This one-day workshop is intended to serve as a gateway into the dynamics of supply chain management with an overview of the fundamental principles and practices that underpin successful supply chain operations, and an emphasis on strategic management of supply.
The workshop will introduce the essential components of the supply chain and is designed to increase the proficiency, level of knowledge, skills, and abilities of supply chain professionals. While not going in-depth, it will provide an introduction to essential areas such as:
