As reliance on suppliers grows, managing their quality isn’t just important—it’s mission-critical. A strong supplier quality system can significantly impact your organization’s performance.
Participants will have the opportunity to identify the key skills that they can practice to improve their ability to handle conflict in a productive way, that will make happy, long-lasting customers.
Objectives:
- Explain the importance of supplier quality.
- List the requirements in ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 for supplier selection, development, monitoring, and evaluation.
- Perform a supplier risk assessment.
- Create supplier selection criteria as well as a scoring system.
- Develop a supplier scorecard.
Intended audience: Individuals in the supply chain, purchasing and procurement, sales, and logistics who are ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 certified and are interested in learning about supplier quality management.
