Ethical leaders are concerned for the greater good, are honest and straightforward, strive for fairness, show respect for the individual, and take responsibility for their decisions. They also serve as role models in their organization. Evidence also suggests that over time, “ethical” organizations outperform those that do not operate ethically.

In this workshop, you’ll learn why ethics are important in organizations and how ethical leaders behave on a daily basis. You’ll also evaluate real-world workplace situations from an ethical standpoint.

Objectives:

    • Describe the benefits of ethical behavior in organizations.
    • Identify the behaviors of ethical leaders.
    • Describe a process for evaluating situations and making ethical decisions.
    • Identify practical guidelines for conducting business ethically and creating an ethical work environment and culture.

Intended Audience:

New and experienced managers and leaders who want to develop or improve their knowledge of ethics in leadership.

Workshop length: 4 hours
