You’ll learn additional built-in Excel functions, including logical and lookup functions, create tables and charts, sort and filter data, and create pivot tables. Each participant will have a computer with Excel 2016 and will complete multiple exercises to practice what they are learning.

Objectives:

– Create and use specialized Excel functions, including those for manipulating text, logical functions (AND, OR, etc.), lookup functions, and date functions.

– Organize worksheet data with tables.

– Sort and filter data.

– Create charts to visualize data.

– Create pivot tables.

– Insert graphics into a worksheet.

Intended audience: Individuals who have experience working in Excel and can perform basic functions, including using basic build-in functions or individuals who have completed Purdue MEP’s Basic Excel Skills workshop.
